OCM began its journey as a manufacturer in the textile field in 1924 and forayed into worsted fabrics in 1972. The Company has its manufacturing facility in Amritsar, Punjab, India and it is the first integrated worsted unit in India and has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certification.
The Company has a sprawling 37 acre complex that houses a new-age plant with an annual capacity of 8 million meters of fabric and an employee base of 1,900.
From the revered houses of OCM and GBTL-Grasim, comes our sister concern, GRADO. As part of this synergy, GRADO is all set to scale new heights, by catering to the worsted, PV, PV-blends, and cotton segments.
By providing a rich variation of fabrics and apparel to choose from, GRADO has already established itself as a leading luxury garment manufacturer in the market.
To give the brand a higher impetus, GRADO is also proud to have associated with, and been endorsed by the Shehenshah of Bollywood - Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
The origin of linen might date back into antiquity, but this material was virtually unknown in India until as late as 1949 when a humble, hitherto unknown Indian company named Jaya Shree Textiles was poised at the edge of history.

Burgoyne is a one of the leading Linen Fabric manufacturers in India with classics of Original Irish linen from WFB Baird Company Ireland Experience. Burgoyne story began in the small town of Lurgan in Northern Ireland where Linen Trade was already booming at the time.
